Lifepoint Missions

Sharing God’s love for the World is something that Lifepoint is committed to. We are also committed to honouring God through our lives – our work, our use of money, our relationships, our priorities, our care of the planet, and so on.

Some at Lifepoint have chosen to live in ways that facilitate a particular mission focus in our local community. For example, some of us live in residential communities in the suburbs, others are involved with prison ministries, and still others relate closely with international students.

Lifepoint is also deeply committed to global mission. At Lifepoint we have ‘mission partners’ who have been endorsed by the Church and are supported through encouragement, prayer and/or financial assistance to work in different parts of the world.

Our mission partners are working in Bangladesh, Thailand, the Middle East, Nepal, the Philippines, and other parts of Asia, as well as for World Outreach, a multicultural and interdenominational faith mission operating in over 60 countries. Their work is varied and they have different areas of focus related to where they live and whom they are ministering to. Some are providing medical expertise, running a residential bible college, graphic designing, providing pastoral support and care to missionaries serving in aid and development, children’s’ ministry, or living and working with a squatter community.
