Prayer for small groups

In Lifegroups and other small groups across our church we have opportunity to be ‘face-to-face’ in encouraging one another as followers of Jesus, and to recognise Jesus among us as we journey together in His name.

Pray for all these groups, that we will know the loving presence and training of Jesus•

Foyles War

Island Bay Home Group raised $51.00 at the “Foyle’s War-athon” held last Saturday.

This money will go to Noi Non and his wife in Thailand, for their work with the after-school children’s club.

Thank you to all those who came, watched and gave.

Sick of life’s struggles? Want to escape the stress?

Island Bay Life Group has the answer!

On November 1st we are running three years worth of “Foyles War” - a detective series set during World War 2 from 9.30 in the morning until 11.00 at night!

The charge is a gold coin per hour to watch each episode and the proceeds will go to our Missions partners.

Come at any time and for those who want an extra treat we’ll celebrate a birthday in the evening as well!
